Description
For cruise passengers docking in Livorno, this Cinque Terre day trip from Livorno is a private full-day excursion of about nine hours. You are picked up from your ship and driven in a car or minivan with air conditioning to the UNESCO-listed villages of the coast of Liguria, with a guide at your side all day.
The first stop is Riomaggiore or Manarola, weather permitting, with time to wander narrow streets and colourful houses. From there you continue by ferry along the coast, or by train if the boats are not running. The route takes in Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso, so you can see what sets each village apart.
In Monterosso, you have free time. Sit down for lunch at a seafront restaurant with outdoor tables, or walk the backstreets for views along the coast. In summer there is a chance for a swim in the sea, and a stop for a wine tasting.
