Description
If you only want Pisa, a Livorno to Pisa shore excursion by bus keeps the day simple. The coach takes you from Livorno to the medieval city and brings you back to your departure point, with free Wi-Fi on board. A multilingual assistant is at the bus stop, and you get a Pisa city map with descriptions to help you find your way. The whole outing lasts about four hours.
In Pisa you set your own plan. Piazza dei Miracoli is a collection of marble buildings, a kind of open-air museum of medieval European art. You can wander between the monuments and see the Leaning Tower up close. If you choose the option, the ticket lets you climb the legendary tower and look out over the city.
When your free time ends, you ride back to Livorno, and the return in time for your ship is guaranteed.
The shuttle from the port to Livorno city centre, as well as food and drink, are not included. Children under 8 cannot enter the tower. If your ship changes its schedule or port, do not assume the tour is cancelled: it can be moved to the new port or time.
