On this Pisa guided tour, with the Leaning Tower available as an upgrade, a local guide takes you through the UNESCO-listed Piazza dei Miracoli and explains the stories, the symbolism and the engineering behind its monuments. If you choose the climb, you go up a historic spiral staircase of 251 steps to a view over Pisa and the Tuscan countryside. Children under 9 cannot climb but can join the rest. Shoulders and knees must be covered in the Cathedral, which may close for religious reasons.
