Description
A Leaning Tower of Pisa ticket gives you a reserved slot for the climb: 297 steps up to the top, where the view spreads over the whole city. Once you are down, the Cathedral is open to you as well, with its art and architecture to look at without hurry.
A multilingual audio app, written by art historians, goes with you and tells the history and the legends of the Tower, the Cathedral and the Baptistery. If you prefer to skip the admission, the audio walking tour works on its own, and after the Square of Miracles it leads on to Piazza dei Cavalieri and its buildings and churches.
- Leaning Tower of Pisa, with a timed ticket
- Cathedral, included
- Baptistery, the round building known for its acoustics, as an option
- Camposanto, Opera Museum and Sinopie Museum, also as options
Only the Tower has a fixed date and time; the other sights can be visited before or after it on the same day. Children under 8 cannot climb, and those aged 8 to 18 need an adult with them. There is no lift, so the climb does not suit people with heart conditions or reduced mobility. In the Cathedral shoulders and knees must be covered, and bags and metal objects stay in the cloakroom at Piazza del Duomo 21.
