Description

The Antiquarium includes a collection of artifacts of different ages and backgrounds, set up as a support for university teaching by Professor Silvio Ferri in the 50s. It comprises about 1500 artefacts that represent a comprehensive overview of objects of antiquity, with a conspicuous presence of pottery, among which are present Attic vases decorated with red figures and black-figure vases Hellenistic, Roman kitchen and pottery canteen. The collection is completed by a group of votive pottery and a wide range of accessories made with glass, metal and marble.
