Description

These Pisa Leaning Tower and Cathedral tickets give you a timed climb up the 55-metre tower and skip-the-line entry to the Cathedral, all in about an hour and a half.

Two of Pisa's great landmarks fit into one short outing with these Pisa Leaning Tower and Cathedral tickets. You collect them at the Sinopie Museum, then head up the tower at the slot you chose, so the ticket office queue is not your problem. The visit takes around 90 minutes.

The tower rises 55 metres and dates back to the 12th century. From the top you look over the city, the neighbouring duomo and the rolling Tuscan hills.

Next comes the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, which you enter without a time slot and with skip-the-line access. It is nearly 1,000 years old and is ranked among the best of Pisan Romanesque building. An audio guide for the Cathedral comes with the tickets, so you can take in its details at your own speed. Like the tower beside it, the building is very slowly sinking into the ground, and as you wander around you may spot signs of it.

There is no live guide. A child must be 8 by the end of the year to go up the tower, and ID may be asked to confirm age. The climb is not for visitors with mobility impairments or heart problems.
